Cinco De Mayo (Spanish for "Fifth of May") is a Mexican holiday commemorating the Mexican Army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862.  Today in the rest of North America Cinco De Mayo is an opportunity to celebrate Mexican culture and indulge in delicious Mexican cuisine.
