Elgin County Conference to Focus on E-marketing


 

Elgin County Economic Development will focus on online marketing in the latest installment of the Elgin County Conference Series to be held in late June.

"In order to be successful in today's competitive environment, businesses must master the latest technologies, " said Alan Smith General Manager of Economic Development for the County. "This seminar will give Elgin County businesses an opportunity to increase web recognition and to develop professional e-marketing skills."


Elgin County’s E-Marketing Conference is a one-day seminar connecting small businesses to the web through websites, social media, and more. Topics presented will include: the basics of getting online, maintaining a web presence, social media, e-newsletters, online advertising and how to make a website profitable. Engaging presentations will be delivered by speakers ranging from successful business owners to e-marketing specialists.


E-Marketing will take place on Wednesday, June 27th at the Wharf Restaurant in Port Stanley. The total cost of the conference is $30 and includes breakfast and lunch.
